Eat your heart out, J.J. Abrams! A new web series is filling the void for many peoples Comic-Con withdrawals. The hot, new online series is taking the popular Star War franchise to another level with a parody series that will knock your socks off.

In honor of the 43rd annual Comic-Con, the Bad Wookiee web series continues down a twisted comedic path. Creator Stephen Gill says this episode will focus on Chewbacca, whose job search continues despite Star Wars casting rumors from Bad Robot and J.J. Abrams.

The third in the Star Wars Web series of short film parodies, Episode V: Casting takes a cue from recent industry reports of pre-production on the next episode of the beloved Star Wars series. With much of the original cast slated for appearances, Chewbacca naturally assumes that hes going to be part of the cast. All that fur! All that ego!

Creator Stephen Gill and co-writer Russell Sinclair have already crafted dozens of scenarios that a bored Chewbacca would find himself in when Saturday Night Live featured a skit between Harrison Ford and Chewbacca. With a post-production snag on one of the web films, editor Nate Taylor and Gill knew they had too good a storyline to pass up.

As avid Star Wars fans, with everyone wondering what direction J.J. Abrams was going to go in, we felt it our duty to call attention to, in this case, the Ewoks as example by way of parody of characters fans would not be looking to see again, Gill says.

Want more? Dont worry. Comic-Coms 130,000 fans definitely do, and theyre in luck. The final in this series of Web films is due up imminently.
